About Us

Bos Scapes Inc. is located in Coaldale, Alberta, and has provided commercial landscape services for parks, open spaces, golf courses, and roadsides for over 25 years.

We work closely with other local small businesses to ensure the products we provide are of the highest quality and are suitable for the Alberta climate.

Our History

Owner, Peter Bos, emigrated to Canada from Holland in 1980, and began a sod farm in 1982. As he built the sod farm and established a reputation in Southern Alberta, he also began to do landscape work laying the sod for customers. Peter obtained his Journeyman Landscape Gardener Certificate from Olds College in 1986.

As both the farm and the landscape division began to grow, Peter eventually founded a landscape business separate from his farm so that he could develop it into the thriving commercial landscape business we know as Bos Scapes Inc. today. Peter has been able to step back and allow his son, Steven, to take an increasingly active role in the day to day management of Bos Scapes Inc. Steven obtained his Journeyman Landscape Gardener Certificate from Old College in 2011 and has been active in the company since 2008.

We take pride in the fact that we are a local, family-run business delivering excellence in projects in Southern Alberta. We grow leaders from within, giving our customers unsurpassed quality built on decades of experience and loyalty, and actively supporting the local communities of Coaldale and Lethbridge.
